Sans Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated ripe blackcurrant aromas laced with hints of mint evolve from the glass followed by subtle cedary tobacco characters and traces of dark chocolate. Medium to full bodied the palate dishes up rich blackcurrant flavours which sit atop notions of choc mint, vanillin cedar, faint tobacco and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained powdery tannins giving the back palate a hint of firmness. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, subtle choc mint, vanillin cedar and faint dried herb infusions.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc. 14.8%
