Sans Totally opaque black as night colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted liquorice and black cherry aromas are overlaid by some smoky vanillin cedar and dried meats with pronounced blackpepper end notes. Medium to full bodied with plenty of succulent fruit on the mid palate and a peppery finish, liquorice and black cherry flavours combine with infusions of smoky cedar and dried meats. Slightly firmish tannins impart some restrained chewiness to the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, smoky cedar, dried meats and a strong blackpepper component.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc 14.5%
