Sans Matured in French oak hogsheads for 18 months. Outstanding colour saturation displaying an impenetrable pitch black core with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice meld into vanillin cedar with spice end notes. Rich fleshy ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours overlay a backdrop of toasty vanillin cedar and a touch of earth. Finishes spicy and dry with slightly firmish tannins which give the back palate a chalky feel. Aftertaste of spicy blackberries, liquorice and toasty vanillin cedar.Cellar 3-4 years.Alc. 15.5%
