Château Grand-Puy Ducasse vineyard covers 40 hectares which is split into three large plots. The vines are 25 years old on average and lie on sandy Garonne gravel terroirs. Optical sorting system. Vinification was carried out in stainless steel temperature-controlled tanks. For some of the batches, malolactic fermentation was carried out in new barrels. 40% of the barrels used for this wine were new. This wine is a 5th Cru Classé. from Pauillac. Perfumed cassis on the nose with earthy undertones and a subtle touch of herbs and smokiness. Medium-bodied with a delightful texture and lingering cedar notes.
