Sans Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant aromas mix with hints of black cherry and liquorice followed by cedary tobacco and spicy dried herb notes. Ripe and intensely flavoured, the medium weighted palate sees rich dark and red currant flavours interact with mulberry, tobacco, earthy fresh herbs and spicy cedar characters. Supple mid palate feel with slightly grainy tannins and good natural acidity the supportive backbone. Long savoury red to dark fruited aftertaste.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc. 14%
