Sans The outstanding 2016 vintage has produced a Shiraz with more size and richness than recent vintages. Combine this with the estates trademark suppleness and you have on your hands one of the best Elderton Shiraz made in a long time. Fruit is sourced from the Barossa sub districts of Nuriootpa (53%), Greenock (26%) and Craneford (21%) with vines aged between 23 and 122 years old. Maturation took place in predominately second and third fill American oak puncheons for 24 months.
