Sans Whole bunch pressed and aged for 18 months in small oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced liquorice and black cherry aromas laced with blackpepper rise out of the glass with smoky cedar, earth and spice ensuing. Rich, full bodied palate with powerful flavours of peppered black cherries and liquorice sitting over smoky cedar, dried meats and spicy scorched earth. Opulent mouthfeel finishing dry with ripe chewy tannins imparting some grip. Medium to long spicy black cherry, liquorice, smoky cedar, dried meats and earthy blackpepper aftertaste.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc. 14.9%
