Sourced from the La Rivière estate, with Pinot Noir from Cumières and Chardonnay from Chouilly. Vineyard selection was particularly rigorous in 2017 due to challenging conditions, including spring frosts and late-season humidity. Crafted using a long, gentle infusion of Pinot Noir with a portion of Chardonnay juice co-fermented for balance and integration. 29% of the blend was aged in oak. Partial malolactic fermentation (24%). Dosage: 8 g/L. Elegant and expressive with wild strawberries, blood orange, rose petals, and macaroons on the nose. The palate is silky, fresh, and delicately spiced, with a chalky, saline finish and subtle notes of chocolate and cedar.
