Sans Always polarising wines the Mollydookers are going to be loved by some and hated by others. The 2017 Boxer Shiraz is sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of cassis, dark plum and liquorice evolve from the glass followed by hints of black cherry and spicy vanillin oak. Rich and silky this flamboyant Shiraz boasts liqueur like black fruits and prominent toasty oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Shaded by some heat on the finish the wine concludes with lavish dark plum, liquorice, cassis, toasty oak and spice.Drink over the next 3-4 years.Alc. 15.5%
