Sans This is the 33rd release of Pikes Riesling, consistently rated as one of Clare Valley’s best. Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. Pronounced aromatics of lime juice, citrus and orange rind are followed by green apple and chalky talc like notes. Zippy lime and citrus flavours interspersed by a racy line of acidity show plenty of intensity on the palate. Also present are nuances of crunchy green apple, subtle orange rind, talc and mineral. Dry crisp finish. Excellent length with a long lime, citrus, orange rind, green apple and steely mineral aftertaste.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc. 11.5%
