Sans Totally opaque dark purple black core with a bright dark purple hue. Fragrant spicy red raspberry, plum and liquorice aromas laced with dried clove are trailed by smoky cedar, earth and pepper notes. Rich dark plum, ripe red raspberry and liquorice flavours decorate the savoury medium bodied palate with smoky dried clove like characters, a touch of meatiness and plenty of pepper and spice ensuing. Beautifully balanced with a supple feel, slightly dry, grainy tannins and a long spicy pepper, red to dark fruit, smoky clove and dried meats aftertaste.Cellar 5-6 years.Alc. 14%
