Sans The Los Arbolitos Chardonnay underwent primary fermentation with native and selected yeasts. Malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels (50% new) with maturation in the same barrels on lees for a period of 12 months.Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced ripe peach and fresh apricot aromas intermix with hints of lemon butter, honeyed citrus like notes, toasty clove and spice notes. Rich ripe peach, apricot and honeyed flavours meld into toasty oak with lemon butter, spice and lingering cashew ensuing. The textural feel is creamy but it finishes with good fresh acidity. Long fresh apricot, lemon butter, honeyed cashew and spice aftertaste.Cellar 4-5 years.Alc. 14.6%
