Sans According to winemaker Justin Bubb the Pinot Grigio from Friuli always has more more textural layers than say the Veneto (highly cropped Pinot Grigio) and Trentino (can be difficult to achieve optimum ripeness) – and a little more skin contact certainly accentuates this.Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Showing good elevation are aromas of fresh pear, red apple and honeysuckle trailed by citrus and subtle pebble stone like notes. Light in body but very well rounded and possessing good intensity, the palate is flavoured with pear, apple and subtle dried honey over a citrus and wet stone back drop. Dry crisp finish with a medium to long supplely textured conclusion.Drink now.Alc. 13%
