The vineyard is situated in Franschhoek. The 23-year-old vines consist exclusively of GD1 clones and are planted in well-drained, lightly structured soil. The Robertsvleipad Sémillon is made entirely from grapes grown in Franschhoek. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. The wine is kept on the lees for 10 months before bottling. Delicate aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, and a hint of white peach. On the palate, it presents a creamy texture with a lively acidity. Subtle flavours of lemon curd and a touch of minerality lead to a clean, refreshing finish.
