Since the late 16th century, Curson Castle has changed hands multiple times. Initially owned by Diane de Poitiers, mistress of King Henry II of France, it was later sold to the Lord of Chevrières in 1584 by her daughter, Louise de Brézé. After over 200 years and several transitions, the castle was rented to the ancestors of the current Domaine owners. Today, Etienne Pochon oversees nearly 16 hectares of vineyards in Crozes-Hermitage. All certified organic since 2014.
