Sans Produced from 75 year old vines with maturation taking place in 100% new French oak barrels for a period of 24 months. Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed, blackberry and black plum aromas are married to toasty vanillin oak and peppered earth notes. Full bodied, rich and concentrated the palate is engulfed with opulent liquorice, black cherry and blackberry fruits. Sitting underneath are vanillin oak, scorched earth, fennel and blackpepper nuances. Velvet smooth yet structural tannin framework concluding long, seductive and peppery.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
