A wet spring and early summer followed by a dry, sunny ripening period produced healthy, balanced grapes. Hand-harvested Tempranillo from 30+ year-old vines. After a short maceration and controlled fermentation, the wine was aged for 40 months in oak (40% American, 60% French) before bottling in February 2023. Deep ruby with aromas of ripe red fruit, spice and cedar. The palate is elegant and structured, with refined tannins, lively acidity and a long, balanced finish.
