Sans A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 7% Malbec and 7% Cabernet Franc matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads. Totally opaque midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant and liquorice aromas are trailed by earth, vanillin cedar and choc mint notes. Rich fleshy ripe blackcurrant fruits are backed by an underlying sturdy tannin structure which firms up the back half. Liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar, earth and choc mint characters are also evident. Excellent concentration with a robust yet opulently fruited finish.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
