Vineyards are facing west and benefit from cooling gully breezes during spring and summer. This extends the ripening season allowing the grapes to achieve the right level of sugar and acid. Aged in 10% new French oak with the balance in seasoned French and American oak. Aromas of dark fruits and violets alongside lightly spiced oak. The palate is rich and well-balanced with fine grained tannins and an elegant finish.
