Sans Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. The nose has a perfumed quality to it featuring delightful rose petal like scents which meld into ripe red to dried cherry and red currant fruits. Earth, light tobacco, fresh herb and delicate spicy cedar scents then emerge. Very long and elegant, the seemingly weightless palate is flooded with a mix of red to dark cherry and red currant flavours that show an appealing savouriness. Adding complexity are spicy cedar, light earth and dried herb elements. Beautiful freshness with muscular yet finely etched tannins leading into a powerful yet refined finish.Drink over the next 10-15 years.
