Intense spicy plum, violet, liquorice and clove aromas engulf the olfactory senses with some dried meat, scorched earth and peppered herb notes also chiming in. Rich and sleek across the medium bodied palate, spicy dark to black cherry, plum and liquorice fruits are complexed by notions of clove, smoky earth, vanillin cedar and peppered dried meats. Polished tannin structure with a long finish that’s refined and highly savoury. Very Northern Rhone like.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14%
