Located at the highest point of the Saint-Émilion plateau, the estate is planted on a thin layer of clay atop limestone. Harvested by hand, with plot-by-plot selection. Grapes undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration, pigeage, and then ferment in a mix of temperature-controlled stainless steel and wooden vats. Aged in 70% new French oak for 16 months. Bouquet of licorice, smoke, floral notes and wild cherry. Opulent and velvety texture with ripe fruit, fine tannins, superb density, purity, and length.
