Sans In Alto Adige Pinot Grigio ranks as one of the most important varieties and altitude is king. Erste + Neue’s Pinot Grigio comes from some of their highest sites ranging in altitudes up to 800 metres that have an array of different soil types. Picked in late September to retain acidity and freshness, post fermentation the pressed juice spends 3 to 4 months in steel with around 10% on solids to provide additional texture and palate weight.
