Varietal Composition: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 1% Malbec

Winemaker Notes

From its tantalizing ruby and garnet color to its soaring aromas of raspberry, ripe strawberry, Rainier cherry, wildflowers and sage-filled desert air, this is an energetic and elegantly luxurious expression of Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The vibrant red berry flavors are echoed on the plush, seductive palate, where they mingle with juicy, mouth-filling layers of black plum, cherry pie and spice that linger throughout a long, rich finish.

Production

In the Columbia Valley, the 2019 growing season was shaped by a cool spring and a temperate summer with very few days above 100º F. This allowed the grapes to slowly ripen, developing pure, focused flavors, while still possessing bright, refreshing acidity. As a result, the 2019 vintage has produced elegant and energetic wines that embody the character of the Columbia Valley with silky tannins and lush, alluring fruit.
