Sans The Seghesio wines blend modern and traditional with a light hand in the cellar that favours elegance and balance.Aged for 2 years in large oak casks. Red to dark red core with black toned edges and a red to brick red hue. Pretty rose petal like scents are followed by some spicy red raspberry, red cherry, earthy leather, dried herb and subtle tobacco notes. Mid weighted the palate is flooded with juicy red raspberry, red cherry and red liquorice fruits which are backed by energetically fresh acidity and muscular tannins. Subtle earth, tobacco and spicy dried herb elements linger through the back half. Excellent length and tension with some gentle grip to the long red fruited finish.Drink over the next 6-8 years.Alc. 15%
