Sans This estate is situated just 17 kilometres from Saint Emilion on the Coubeyrac plateau of clay and limestone. Dark red black in colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice combine with scorched earth, black olive and spicy vanillin cedar notes. Medium bodied the palate has a strong toasty vanillin cedar component to it with blackcurrant, earth and spicy tobacco characters also evident. Slightly chewy tannins with an earthy, toasty vanillin cedar finish.Drink over the next 3-4 years.Alc. 13.5%
