Sans Quartz Blanc is one of the few blends produced by Vaccelli, using a mix of four white grape varieties native to Corsica: Carcaghjolu Bianco, Riminese, Ghjenuvese and Cudiverta. A relatively new wine in the range, the vines for Quartz were planted in 2013 on sandy granitic soils. Quartz displays a harmonious balance between the fleshy citrus and green fruit, supported by white florals, honey, and a sappy bitter spice finish. Layered over this profile is a hint of curry leaf and wisps of smoke normally associated with premium Jura Savagnin.
