Grapes from plots considered ‘Premier Cruâ€? Pre-phylloxera vines planted in Atauta, Soria, DO Ribera del Duero, at 950-1000 masl. Fermented with 40% whole bunches and 60% destemmed, macerated for 18 days at 17-29ºC. Small pigeages are performed every 5 minutes with oxygen added once per day. The wine is aged in used Burgundian barrels (32% new) for 18 months. Limited production of an average of 5,000 bottles per year.
