Sans A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot matured for 13 months in French oak (20% new). Fantastic depth of colour featuring an impenetrable inky black heart along with a deep black dark red hue. Intense blackcurrant and ripe mulberry aromas flood the nostrils with hints of choc mint, vanillin cedar, tobacco and spice also evident. Rich and full yet structured, the palate is awash with blackcurrant, mulberry and choc mint flavours which impart a plush mid palate feel. Backed by firm yet integrated tannins, vanillin cedar, subtle earthy tobacco and spice characters echo across the back half. Excellent concentration and depth concluding long and sturdy.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14%
