Expressive, fresh cassis fruit in abundance �quite an exuberant, aromatic style with a subtle note of cedar �classically cabernet sauvignon. Lovely warm plush palate with ripe, sweetish cassis fruit in abundance �but also excellent poise and structure. A nudge weightier than the malbec with fine-grained tannins. Suggested pairing: red meat, fillet mignon, lamb, mushroom risotto and cheddar.
