Regarded as the best Climat (vineyard) in Fleurie, Grille Midi benefits from a granite amphitheatre shape where grapes can reach full maturity and develop concentrated flavours. Hand-harvested. Fermented with natural yeast and matured for six months, both in concrete tanks, to preserve purity and texture. Plenty of ripe blackberry and plum aromas. Medium to full body on the palate with round tannins and followed by a very long, lingering finish.
