Old masal selection vines, planted in high density (7200 plants per hectare) and with a yield of 2 plants per bottle. Flood irrigation. Mix of stony sandy loam soil, silty loam soil and frank clay soil. Cold maceration during 7 days at 10º C. Fermentation with native yeasts for 30 days at 27-29º in concrete tanks and 4 daily pump-overs. Malo in 500 liters 3rd use French oak during 25 days. Aged for 12 months in the same barrels and 3 months in concrete.A refined, high-altitude Malbec with aromas of violets, cassis, and red cherry, leading to a round, velvety palate and an elegant, lingering finish.
