Sans Co-fermented with 1% Roussanne and 1% Viognier. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas waft out of the glass trailed by some black cherry, earth, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper notes. Luscious blackberry, black cherry and liquorice fruits are underscored by lively acidity which lends freshness. Some blueberry, inky earth, light honeysuckle and spicy vanilla elements lurk in the background. Slightly chewy but ripe tannins with a vibrant yet seductive conclusion.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
