Sans Matured in 3-4 year old French oak puncheons for a period of 8 months. Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas fill the nostrils with hints of smoked meats and peppered fennel also chiming in. Rich liquorice, blackberry and black cherry fruits flood the mouth with spicy vanillin cedar, earth, black olive and peppered fennel characters lying on the back half. Opulently textured it has a sturdy yet velvet like tannin structure finishing with a lick of freshness on the long seductive aftertaste.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
