Sans Matured in predominately French oak barrels (15% new) along with a small portion of American oak for a period of 16 months.Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated red to black currant, tobacco and bay leaf aromas mix with earthy black olive and spicy cedar notes. Mid weighted the palate features red to black currant and ripe mulberry fruit over a tobacco, earthy cedar, black olive and bay leaf infused back drop. Sturdy mouth feel with firm yet fine grained tannins. Savoury and spicy it finishes with medium length.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14%
