Sans Dense black dark red colour with a very dark red black tinged hue. Ripe blackcurrant and black plum aromas infused with a mix of liquorice, scorched earth, black olives, vanillin oak and a whiff of varnish emanate from the glass. Rich and jammy with a liqueur like sweetness to the concentrated cassis and black plum flavours that are layered across the full bodied palate. Tobacco, scorched earth, vanillin oak and spicy dried herb characters ensue. Sturdy tannin structure with a jammy mid length finish that carries plenty of heat.Drink over the next 1-2 years.Alc. 15.3%
