Sans Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas are married to vanillin oak, subtle earthy tobacco and spice notes. Rich mouth filling blackcurrant and dark plum fruits are overlaid by prominent toasty vanillin cedar characters on the back half with some earth and spice also evident. Polished yet slightly chewy tannins with a ripe vanillin oak laden finish.Drink over the next 3-4 years.Alc. 14%
