Sans Produced from grapes sourced from the Riebke family vineyards in the Barossa Valley’s north at Ebenezer, where the family has been farming for six generations now. Matured in seasoned French oak hogsheads for 12 months.Impenetrable inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Seductive dark plum and liquorice aromas sail out of the glass followed by hints of black cherry, smoky vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper notes. Full bodied, the palate is awash with plush dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and subtle blueberry fruits which lend freshness. Excellent concentration and power with vanillin cedar, fennel and subtle spicy dark chocolate characters lurking underneath. Velvet smooth tannins concluding long and opulent.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
