Sans Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of spicy morello cherries and red liquorice followed by some vanillin cedar and peppered dried meat notes. Quite tame for Rutherglen Durif, the palate is only mid weighted and features an elegant flavour profile of red to morello cherries and red liquorice over dried herbs and peppered meats. Bright acidity with fine yet gently sturdy tannins. Vibrant and savoury red fruited finish of medium length.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14.2%
