Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. A mixture of red to black currant and red liquorice fruits greet the nostrils followed by some earth, spicy vanillin cedar, faint graphite and subtle spicy tobacco notes. Firm and chewy, the mid weighted palate sports rich red to black currant and liquorice fruits over an earthy back drop of cedary tobacco, dried herb, pencil lead and spice characters. Assertive tannins impart a grippy feel across the muscular conclusion.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc. 14%

Concentrated on the palate but with such a lovely weight and texture �slightly grippy, slightly chewy and cool overall. Feels nicely balanced, round and forward. Calm and fresh.
