Sans Matured in French oak for 11 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherry, plum and anise tied to dried herb, forest floor, dried meats and spicy cedar blossom from the glass. Rich dark cherry, plum and anise flavours are delivered with terrific intensity and power over a back drop of roasted meats, scorched earth, dried herbs and spicy cedar. Slightly grainy tannins provide structure. Good underlying freshness with a long savoury conclusion.Drink over the next 6-8 years.Alc. 13.5%
