Dedicated to the region, the Cravens focus exclusively on single-vineyard wines from Stellenbosch, working closely with growers to craft wines that reflect their unique origins and sense of place.Syrah holds a special place in the Craven’s hearts, with Stellenbosch offering unique sites for this variety. The fruit is sourced from a Devon Valley vineyard with rich, deep red soils high in clay content. Left 100% whole-bunch, the fruit is lightly stomped by foot to release some juice, with gentle pumpovers performed once or twice daily to minimize extraction. After 10 days on skins, the fruit was pressed into old puncheons for 10 months of maturation.Alc. 13.1%
