Sans Matured in some new but predominately older French and American oak barriques for a period of 18 months. Inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated dark plum and liquorice aromas intermix with ripe blackberry, toasty vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes. Rich plush dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and blueberry fruits are interwoven with gently smoked vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth elements. Youthfully fresh it has a fine grained, polished tannin structure and a long juicy blue and black fruited conclusion.Drink over the next 5-6 years.Alc. 14.5%
