Old Grenache & Carignan vines, ranging from 50 to 70 years old, along with 15-year-old Syrah vines from the vineyards of Capçanes, Marçà, and Falset in Montsant DO. Hand-harvested. Grapes are destemmed and transferred to large cement tanks for fermentation with indigenous yeast. Then, grapes are pressed and transferred; half of it to the same tanks and the other half to Austrian oak foudres of 2,000/2,500l, to age for 10 months. Aromas of red fruits, ripe raspberries, red cherries, blueberries with a subtle stony undertone complemented by dried herbs and chocolate powder. Silky, rich, complex with a lingering fresh finish.
