Dense inky black colour with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe black raspberry, liquorice and subtle black cherry aromas fill the nostrils complimented by some scorched earth, vanillin spice notes. Rich and well weighted the palate is decorated with sweet edged black raspberry, black plum and liquorice fruits. Some black cherry, scorched earth and vanillin spice elements ensue. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a sweet fruited finish.Drink over the next 2-3 years.Alc. 14.5%
