Sans The Mader domaine, a small family-owned winery, is located in the picturesque village of Hunawihr, near Ribeauvillé. They own over 10 hectares of vineyards, including prized Grand Cru sites in Rosacker and Schlossberg. Jérôme Mader took over in 2005 and converted the vineyards to organic viticulture, gaining certification in 2007.The 2022 vintage at Rosacker, from vines aged 43 to 68 years near the top of the vineyard, was warm but delivered surprising freshness. With a low yield of just 35 hl/ha, the wine exhibits great intensity, finesse, and structure, featuring rich, intense citrus fruit, mineral notes, and outstanding length.Alc 14%
