Sans Matured in a mix of barriques, hogsheads and puncheons of which 23% were new for a period of 11 months. Dense black as night heart with a deep vibrant dark red black tinged hue. Red to black currant and mulberry aromas abound complimented by tobacco, dusty cedar, traces of black olive and bay leaf. Medium bodied and elegant, the palate features red currant and mulberry fruits which meld into a dusty cedar, tobacco and bay leaf back drop. Very fine grained tannin structure with a super refined graphite like finish.Drink over the next 8-10 years.Alc. 13.5%
