Sans Dense inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Freshly crushed blackcurrant and liquorice aromas elevate their way through the nostrils combining with some mulberry, inky earth, vanillin cedar and mint notes along the way. Still very youthful and inky in its feel the palate is decorated with freshly crushed blackcurrant and liquorice fruits which overlay an earthy back drop of vanillin cedar and infusions of bay leaf. Bright, almost crunchy like acidity in conjunction with muscular tannins lead into a tense, inky finish.Cellar 6-8 years.Alc. 14%
