The grapes come from 68-year-old dryland bush vines planted in 1954, located in Paarl. These old vines contribute concentrated fruit and a naturally low yield, enhancing depth and character. Grapes were naturally fermented in open tanks with a portion of dried stems to build structure. Manual punch-downs supported gentle extraction. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 11 months in 225L barrels. Bright red cherry and wild berry aromas with subtle oak and herbal notes. The palate is fresh and elegant, with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a savoury finish that reflects the depth of old bush vines.
