Sans Matured for 10 months in new and mature Hungarian and mature French oak hogsheads.Dense midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of black cherry and liquorice flow out of the glass followed by some scorched earth, vanillin oak and spice notes. Rich and opulently fruited the medium to full bodied palate is generously endowed with black cherry and liquorice flavours which sail over a back drop of scorched earth, dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Ripe chewy tannin structure with traces of leather lingering through the long spicy finish.Drink over the next 4-5 years.Alc. 14%
